My love of gardening started when I purchased a home back in 1991, where there was an area that was used for a vegetable garden that was filled with weeds, and a raised flower bed covered with dead plants. By the end of that summer I had bumper crops of fresh vegetables, and a beautiful perennial bed in the front yard. I loved working in the soil, and my passion for plants was "seeded."

I found that people loved my landscaping ideas, and a friend encouraged me to start my own landscaping firm. I went back to school, and earned an A.A.S. in Landscape Design and Construction. Working in this field is my joy and passion.

I started Creative Garden Expressions in 2003. The services provided include landscape designs and installations for all of your home's landscaping needs, including patios, retaining walls, walkways, patios, stairs and ponds. I specialize in using hardy trees, shrubs, perennials and native plants that can stand the tough Minnesota weather extremes.
I am committed to volunteering in the community, and do so as a Master Gardener, and several other horticultural societies. I love to share what I have learned with everyone I meet.
